JCS PONGAL 2025 was celebrated at 7.30am. on 18th January 2025 at JCS HQ under the prominance of the new signboard. The Pongal event was organised byJCS Social and Cultural Committee together with the JCS Ladies Wing. The event was graced by the KJB President Mr. P. Satguna Rajah and well attended by all the Bord Members, several KJB District officials, Internal Auditors, staffs and neighbours of KJB. The highlight was cooking the sweet rice in a traditional earthen pot and seeing it boil over as the morning sun emerged. Several passing tourists joined us in the celebration with the call Pongalo Pongal! Everyone was treated with the sweet pongal and morning breakfast.  JCS HQ was tradionally decorated with thoranam and sugarcane. The Board wishes to thank the Ladies Wing Head Mdm. A. Poovanesvare and her Committee , Board Member / Chairman of JCS Social and Cultural Committee Mr. K. Sivagnanasingam and his Committee for their efforts enabling KJB to successfully undertake this Tamil cultural event for the 3rd consecutive year.
